The system ensures optimal fuel station management through real-time monitoring and prompt responses to alerts. It automates dispenser pumps, fuel tanks, and automatic vehicle identifiers (AVI), enabling remote control and data synchronization with the iVMS server for detailed reporting.
Compatible with various ATG fuel level sensors, it integrates with POS systems. The system enhances security by facilitating RFID-based operations to prevent unauthorized access and theft and supports payment processing via mobile apps and bank terminals, thereby improving operational efficiency and customer service at fuel stations.
How it works
The IoT forecourt controller manages fuel station operations by interfacing with dispensers, tanks, price boards, and automatic vehicle identifiers (AVI). It connects local control systems with these components, allowing real-time data collection and control.
The IoT controller records transactions, tank measurements, and alerts, uploading them to the iVMS server for analysis. RFID integration prevents unauthorized access, and AVI subsystem automatically identify vehicles and manages fueling.
This system ensures wireless communication, enhances security, and improves operational efficiency, supporting various ATG sensors and enabling comprehensive remote management.
Automatic Vehicle Identification
The Mafuta Pump AVI is a two-part sub system consisting of an RFID reader at the dispenser nozzle and an RFID sensor on the vehicle. The RFID reader wirelessly communicates with the vehicle’s RFID sensor, enabling seamless vehicle identification during fueling.
Integrated with the IoT controller, this system automatically recognizes vehicles, verifies accounts, and applies discounts or loyalty policies. It ensures secure transactions by pausing fuel delivery if unauthorized activity is detected.
Data on transactions and vehicle identifications is saved and uploaded to the server, facilitating real-time monitoring and analysis on the iVMS platform.
